As Muslims, we believe in black magic, evil eye, & the cursed Shaytaan. We have much that we need protection from, and Allah has given us this protection when He revealed these Surahs to our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

Surahs An-Nas, Al-Falaq, & Al-Ikhlas, otherwise known as the three Qul’s.

Surah An-Nas: Protection from inner whispers. Protection of the heart(Akhira)

Surah Al-Falaq: Protection from others(dunya)

Surah Al-Ikhlas: Affirm Allah’s Oneness.

It is reported from Aisha (رضي الله عنها) that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to cup his hands together, blow into them and recite the three Qul’s. After wiping over his body, starting with his head, face and front of his body. He ﷺ did this three times.

As a Muslim, I also follow this tradition and recite these Surahs over myself each night. When I do this, I sleep like a baby, alhamdulilah.
