Ramadan ’26
﷽
Ramadan is the month of the Quran, and it is also the month of Du’a. For the Du’a of the fasting person is not rejected. In honor of this beautiful month we experienced, I’d like to share some of my favorite Du’as.
Starting off strong – the Du’a of Laylatul Qadr.
O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love to forgive, so forgive me.
Du’a during Witr prayer:
O Allah, guide me among those You have guided, grant me wellbeing among those You have granted wellbeing, take me into Your charge among those You have taken into Your charge, bless me in what You have given me, and protect me from the evil that You have decreed. For indeed, You decree and none can decree over You. Certainly, he whom You befriend is not humiliated, and he whom You take as an enemy is not honored. Blessed are You, our Lord, and Exalted
Du’a for protection from harm:
In the Name of Allah, with Whose Name nothing on earth or in heaven can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing
Du’a of Prophet Ibrahim(عليه السلام):
My Lord, grant me wisdom and join me with the righteous. And grant me a good reputation among later generations.
Last but not least, the Du’a that guides all my decisions: Du’a Al-Istikhara:
O Allah, verily I seek the better (of either choice) from You, by Your knowledge, and I seek ability from You, by Your power, and I ask You from Your immense bounty. For indeed You have power, and I am powerless; You have knowledge, and I know not; You are the Knower of the unseen realms. O Allah, if You know that this matter is good for me with regard to my religion, my livelihood, and the end of my affair, then decree it for me, facilitate it for me, and grant me blessing in it. And if You know that this matter is not good for me with regard to my religion, my livelihood, and the end of my affair, then turn it away from me and me from it; and decree for me better than it, wherever it may be, and make me content with it.
Eid Mubarak, Ummah of Muhammadﷺ
May Allah accept our fasting, our prayers, and our du’as.
Ameen.
Peace and blessings upon the Nabi of Allah.
