Our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ recommended that whoever makes wudu properly, then prays two rakats, Allah will grant him whatever he prays for, immediately or after some time.

This prayer is called Salaatul Haja. Complete the prayer by reciting this beautiful, heartfelt dua:

اللّهُمَّ إني أَسْأَلُكَ مُوجِبَاتِ رَحْمَتِكَ ، وَعَزَائِمَ مَغْفِرَتِكَ

Ya Allah, I ask You everything that leads to Your mercy and tremendous forgiveness

وَالْغَنِيمَةَ مِنْ كُلِّ بِرّ

and enrichment in all good

وَالسَّلامَةَ مِنْ كُلِّ إِثْمٍ

and protection from all sin

لاَ تَدَعْ لِيْ ذَنْباً إِلاَّ غَفَرْتَهُ

don’t leave a sin of mine except that You forgive it

وَلاَ هَمَّاً إِلاَّ فَرَّجْتَهُ

nor any concern except that You create for it an opening

وَلاَ حَاجَةً هِيَ لَكَ رِضاً إِلاَّ قَضَيتَهَا يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ

nor any need in which You are pleased with except that You fulfill it, Oh Most Merciful.
