A Personal Dua

Excerpt from Ramadan ’25:

Lord of Mercy,

honor me by making me among the Servants of the Most Merciful.

Raise me in rank among the Prophets and the righteous. Love me and bring me closer to you through gratitude and comfort. Forgive me and never be angry with me. Fill my heart with Your light and keep me at peace always. Strengthen me to accomplish my dreams and make easy for me the path.

يَا وَهَّابُ – gift me the Quran, its memorization and understanding. Open my heart to it, crown me in the Akhira with it. Make it easy, enjoyable, and bless me with the time and resources to study it.

Bless my Dunya and make the Akhira my greatest focus.

يَا مَوْلَانَا – let the Quran be my companion in the grave. Place me among the ḥāmidūn and protect me from the trials of Yawmul Qiyamah.

Make Tahajjud my constant.

يَا رَبِّ – grant me clarity in my decisions, give me Ilham and be my guiding source through every step of the way. You are closer to me than my jugular vein.

Enable me to always see beyond the illusion of this life.

يَا ٱللّٰهُ – help the Ummah of Muhammad ﷺ. The people of Gaza, Sudan, Yemen, Somalia, Syria, all around the world. We are helpless but You are all capable. Lighten their load and strengthen their hearts.

Please accept my du’as, prayers, Quran, fasting, repentance.

Forgive me, forgive me, forgive me, verily You love to pardon.

Peace and blessings upon the Nabi of Allah.
