As the captain said, “cabin crew, prepare for landing,” I thought to myself, “Alhamdulilah, we made it safely.” Then I remembered Jeju Air Flight 7C2216 in South Korea. That tragedy occurred after landing, when the plane drove straight into a wall. All passengers died immediately. I realized I hadn’t truly made it safe just yet.
Every step of the way, it is Allahﷻ who ensures my safety. And all praise to Him. I did eventually reach my final destination, Madinah Munawwarah. The blessed city of my Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, the best of mankind.
