Divine Phrases

As a Muslim child I was always taught to say Inshallah when I planned to do something and Mashallah whenever something good happened. These are two words known to every believer and now even recognized by many non-Muslims.

Studying Surah Al-Kahf has shown me where these statements originated from. They are not just cultural expressions but commandments from ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ

Allah Most High says:

do not say of anything, ‘I will do that tomorrow[18:23]

without adding, ‘God willing,’ [18:24]

If only, when you entered your garden, you had said, “As God wills” [18:39]

I feel like I’m relearning Islam and its such an amazing gift.

Peace & blessings upon the Nabi of Allah.
