All praise to Allah, Most High.

As I learn Surah Al-Kahf, it’s bringing me comfort in ways I never imagined.

Whenever I feel alone, this verse comes to mind:

وَٱصْبِرْ نَفْسَكَ مَعَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُم بِٱلْغَدَوٰةِ وَٱلْعَشِىِّ يُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَهُۥ ۖ وَلَا تَعْدُ عَيْنَاكَ عَنْهُمْ تُرِيدُ زِينَةَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا

Content yourself with those who pray to their Lord morning and evening, seeking His approval, and do not let your eyes turn away from them out of desire for the attractions of this worldly life [18:28]

In those moments of solitude, I am in the company of my Creator, seeking His pleasure. What a blessing!

I am content, I am full. I choose رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
