﷽
Dear Allah. Lord of mercy, Giver of mercy.
All praise is to You.
Thank You for the gift of Ramadan. I am beyond humbled and honored to have received this gift.
It was in the month of Ramadan that the Qur’an was revealed as a guidance for mankind, clear messages giving guidance and distinguishing between right and wrong. [2:185]
Ramadan as the khateeb mentioned in Friday prayer is a time to be different from the other days. To level up and show up at least a little bit better. So I challenge myself: What do I wish to improve? What habit can I begin this month and continue for a lifetime?
This beautiful month is a reminder that my focus, my priority is You, Lord of the world.
Again and again in Qur’an You remind me that this world is an illusion, that the true believer works for the hereafter, the eternal life. Yet every day I forget and get disoriented. This month is a revival of the spirit, the opportunity to put Dunya on the back burner and race for good deeds.
Ramadan, my favorite time of the year. Thank You for this blessing.
Please send Your mercy on the Ummah of Rasulullah ﷺ
Peace & blessings upon the Nabi of Allah.
